During 2008 (our 80th anniversary year) we held our best Mad Hatter's Tea Party yet and three highly successful outings; one to see the smash hit musical 'Grease'; one to Chessington World of Adventures and our July outing to Southend-on-Sea.  Our fun day at the Piazza, Covent Garden, was also a great success and our 80th Anniversary Celebration Gala Dinner & Dance at The Palace of Westminster was a truly remarkable and unforgettable evening.  For our last event of the year we were privileged to take part in the prestigious Lord Mayor's Show and this was a truly memorable event to end our 80th anniversary year.

On 18th January 2009 we held another highly successful 'star studded' Mad Hatter's tea party and had the honour and privilege to have many celebrities popping in to see us, including Bee Gee's legend Robin Gibb.  On 19th May 2009 we took 300 children on a Taxi Safari to Woburn Safari Park and on 14th July 2009 300 children were taken in a convoy of 100 balloon decorated taxis on our legendary outing to Southend on Sea.  On 23rd August, 2009 we held another highly successful 'fun day' at Covent Garden and on 26th September 2009 we took 50 deserving children to see 'Hairspray' at the Shaftesbury Theatre and a great day was had by all.
